Age Spots are the result of a buildup of wastes known as lipofuscin accumulation which is a byproduct of free radical damage. This waste destroys your bodies skin, brain and liver cells. These free radicals can affect any internal structures. Factors leading to age spots include poor diet, lack of exercise, smoking, poor liver function, ingestion of oxidized oil and excessive sun exposure. The formation of these spots can also be due to deficiencies in vit E, selenium, glutathione, chromium and DMAE.
Things to try include Burdock, Milk thistle, red clover to cleanse the bloodstream. Ginkgo biloba increases circulation and is a potent antioxidant. Emu oil and pure lemon juice topically. Most important lifestyle change including avoid caffeine, fried foods, saturated fats, red meat, processed food, sugar. Do a liver cleanse and detox. Eat more veggies and phytonutrients.

Wow, after reading that the cause is caffeine, poor diets, sugar, and lack of exercise, I am thinking I am in danger of having these spots too. Thank you for this post! It makes me more aware of how poor health will show itself through our skin and many other ways. I've gotta do better! Good stuff!
